Summertime!

Declan's doctor's appointment was 5 days after his birthday - he was 22.4lb and 30.25in.

He's is just too cute, super active, and very opinionated! He loves to clap now and is trying his best to run. His favorite book is "Where the Wild Things Are". He's dropped down to one nap a day.

I've loved having my break and we've spent is going to the kids' wading pool, riding on my parents boat (he even went tubing!), and hanging out as a family.

He had two birthday parties - one with friends and one for family. He had chocolate-beet-applesauce cupcakes.

Today we went strawberry picking with the Bessons. It took him about 20 mins of eating dirt to realize that there were strawberries. He was then a sticky, dirt-covered mess.

We've going on our first family trip next week to Michigan for D's great-great grandmother's 100th birthday.
